Woman Accuses MP Jual Oram Of Misbehaviour, Vandalises Party Office In Rourkela
Huge drama unfolded at the BJP party office in Rourkela in Sundargarh district on Monday when a woman vandalized the office at Sector-III, accusing former Union Minister and MP Jual Oram of misbehaving with her.
An aspirant for Sarpanch post, Gouri Munda alleged that she had approached the senior leader for his support. Instead of extending a helping hand, he hurled abuses at her while talking to her over mobile phone, she alleged. While Oram’s reaction could not be received at the time filing the report, the BJP has lodged a complaint at the Sector-III police station in connection with the vandalism.
BJP Panposh organisational district president, Latika Patnaik termed the woman’s allegation as baseless. She said the incident could be the handiwork of Opposition parties.
