NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded positive around 10:04AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.
Natco Pharma(up 3.16 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma(up 1.56 per cent), Laurus(up 1.48 per cent), Strides Pharma Science(up 1.13 per cent) and Gland Pharma(up 0.99 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Ipca Laboratories(down 2.24 per cent), Alkem Laboratories(down 0.71 per cent), Abbott India(down 0.62 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals(down 0.1 per cent) and Divis Laboratories(down 0.09 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was up 0.26 per cent at 13618.8 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 79.45 points at 17544.2, while the BSE Sensex was up 266.83 points at 58835.34.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Adani Power, IDFC First Bank, BHEL and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Osia Hyper Retail, Jagsonpal Pharm, India Glycols, Healthcare Global and Cantabil Retail hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Felix Industries, GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Swaraj Suiting Ltd., Supreme Infra and Ganga Forging hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
