Stalin directed the police to be courteous to the public visiting the stations, Avadi Police commissionerate has set up “reception desks” in all the 25 police stations in its limits. Avadi Police Commissioner Sandeep Rai Rathore said the reception desk would be manned by a trained person. The reception staff will be trained in soft skills. They would hear the grievances of the public, guide and assist them. The reception desk would ensure swift and timely response to the public, he said. Mr. Rathore launched a new mobile application called “APC CL App” for the Armed Reserve Police personnel in the commissionerate. The app helps the personnel upload the applications online to ensure greater transparency and accountability. Our code of editorial values
