Barack Obama tells Virginians we don’t have time for ‘trumped up culture wars’ and ‘fake outrage’

Everyone has noticed by now that Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe is bringing in a lot of big names who don’t live in Virginia to campaign for him: Kamala Harris, Stacey Abrams, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden, to name a few. Obama campaigned for McAuliffe over the weekend and told the “crowd” that we don’t have time for “trumped-up culture wars” and “fake outrage” that the right-wing peddles to juice their ratings.

That sexual assault coverup by the progressive Loudon County Public Schools school board is certainly no “fake outrage,” and if there’s a “trumped-up culture war,” it’s in the form of Attorney General Merrick Garland and the NSBA teaming up against concerned parents, i.e., domestic terrorists.

I’m sure that will persuade a lot of people.

Schools cover up sexual assault. That’s not trumped up. That’s not culture war. That’s a dereliction of public duty. The failure to address it is a failure of leadership. Saying otherwise is a deflection.

Sorry, but McAuliffe saying that parents shouldn’t be in charge of their children’s education and the Loudoun County school board lying to parents about sexual assaults in bathrooms isn’t “trumped up cultural wars” https://t.co/fRWi9XfK6C

Sure seems like that school board is in a heap of trouble for something that is fake.

He’s just cranky because he had to fly in on a private jet from his mansion on Martha’s Vineyard to bail out this clown.
