Took in a lost Husky for the night. Gave him a bath and some water. He wants to stay awake but can’t!

Update – no hits on my posts. We are going to see if he is chipped in the morning. If he isn’t, I will take care of him a couple days and see if we can’t find the family. I hate having to put him in a shelter, so you all might have to convince my brother to let him stay if it comes to that.

Please put up “lost” fliers in case the owners aren’t on the internet or social media. Contact local shelters and vets to put up lost posters too. I found a dog once and the owner was an older woman who didn’t have a computer. Thankfully her daughter did and saw my posts. Good luck!! Poor pup must be missing his family

Ahhh no shelter! He MUST belong to someone

So what you’re saying is, you have a new dog and your brother is going to have to get over it. If you put him in a shelter, it will be a bad thing. Unless the owner is found, congrats on such a beautiful new doggo!

I’ll take him if he’s unchipped! I already have one derp of my own

If you are in the PNW I might have a home for it.

This dog deserves a human or two to slobber on love!

level 1

Aw, he’s trying so hard.

Good for you. What now- going to search for the family?

level 2

Hope op is better than me bc that would be my dog now

If somebody contacts you saying a lost dog you have is theirs ALWAYS ask them to send you a picture of the dog. There’s some evil people out there.

Huskies, as much as they may love their home and people, will bolt whenever they see an opportunity.

Poor baby. He needs some lovins to calm him down. Thank you for taking him in.

level 2

He is like a small child trying to stay awake like a grownup.

level 2

There’s a lot of emotions running in him. He’s definitely grateful for the warm welcome but his doggy suspicion lurks in the background. He needs treats and hugs!

level 1

Definitely need an update on this one. Huskies are like Houdini’s they get out of everything.

level 2

I agree. That poor doggy looks so stressed and tired! Thank you for taking care of him OP
