Gujarat reports 1069 fresh cases, 103 recoveries, and one death today. The new positive cases in Gujarat include 559 in Ahmedabad, 164 in Surat, 67 in Vadodara, and 61 in Rajkot districts

Total 61 people tested positive in Rajkot city, a 60 year old man died during treatment in Jamnagar. Gujarat in 24 hours vaccinated 25,823 persons for the first dose and 1.26 lakh for the second. In all, 4.68 crore are administered first and 4.26 crore second dose of Covid vaccine. Gujarat recorded 23 new cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 in 24 hours including 11 from Ahmedabad city, 4 from Surat city, 2 each from Vadodara city, Anand and Kutch, and 1 each from Kheda and Rajkot districts. Out of total, 12 had international travel history and 11 did not have any travel within or outside country. The state has 136 total Omicron variant cases out of which 71 are active patients

Rajasthan reported 52 new cases of the Omicron variant of coronavirus, as per State Health Department on Saturday. With this, the total tally of Omicron cases in the state has risen to 121, it added. Out of 52 Omicron cases, 38 cases have been detected in Jaipur, while Pratapgarh, Sirohi and Bikaner reported 3 cases each, two cases reported in Jodhpur and one each case in Ajmer, Sikar and Bhilwada respectively.
