Two bike borne miscreants looted Rs 8 lakh from a petrol pump employee in Rourkela who was on his way to deposit the money in a nearby bank on Monday.
The incident becomes crucial because the loot occurred near the Sector-19 Police station.
As per reports, one Sushant Parida, a filling station employee set out to deposit the cash at a nearby bank.
Two miscreants riding a black Pulsar motorcycle stalked him near the Sector-19 Police station and grabbed the cash bag from his hand after threatening to kill him.
They fled the spot with the cash bag leaving the petrol pump employee in a quandary.
The victim later registered a complaint with the Police in connection with the loot incident.
A probe has been ordered into the incident.
