Singer Falguni Shah and music composer Rickey Kej made India proud at the Grammys with their epic win. While Falu (as Falguni is popularly known) bagged the award for ‘A Colorful World’ in the Best Children’s Album category, Kej earned his second trophy in the Best New Album category for ‘Divine Tides’ with The Police drummer Stewart Copeland.

Brooklyn-based Pakistani vocalist Arooj Aftab won a Grammy for her song ‘Mohabbat’ in the best global music performance category. The singer-composer became the first-ever female Pakistani GRAMMY winner.

Lady Gaga and singer Tony Bennett bagged the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album honour for ‘Love for Sale’. The tribute album, dedicated to late American composer and songwriter Cole Porter, also bagged a Grammy in the Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical category. Gaga walked the red carpet in a dazzling black dress.
