The Italian luxury brand Bulgari will release an NFT of their exclusive timepiece. The premium wristwatch combines the pinnacle of physical craftsmanship with digital proof of ownership.

Bulgari’s NFT Wristwatch — Octo Finissimo Ultra
Bulgari’s latest wristwatch is a world record holder because as of writing it is the thinnest mechanical manual-wind watch in the world. The entire cased watch is just 1.8mm thick — a mechanical feat!
The luxury brand spent three years making the timepiece. They used the finest sandblasted titanium and tungsten carbide to make the masterpiece. It symbolizes the culmination of Bulgari’s 10th Anniversary of its Octo Finissimo collection.
The timepiece is also an example of multiple innovations. At the largest gear of the wristwatch, owners will find a QR code. When they scan it, it will take them to an NFT artwork that will also serves to authenticate the watch.
In addition, they will also be able to see all the details connected to it. You can access its history, concept, design, and manufacturing process. There is even a three-dimensional virtual journey inside the mechanical movement.

Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin said: “This fabulous benchmark that we are setting today with the Octo Finissimo Ultra is in fact for me and for all the teams an apparently impossible dream come true.”
“One that guarantees that Bulgari will forever be recognised as a company that has written some of the finest pages in Swiss watchmaking. And the fact that this is an Italian house makes us particularly proud.”
There are only 10 limited-edition Octo Finissimo Ultra. You can get one for €400,000 (approximately $440,000).
The opulent watch carries Bulgari history and is also the representation of how we can use NFTs to timeless pieces.
