“Warming up for Halloween weekend with the grandkids. As [Ted Lasso] says, ‘Your body is like day-old rice. If it ain’t warmed up properly, something real bad could happen.'”
If you follow Mitt Romney on Twitter, it was abundantly clear Thursday: He’s dressing up as the super positive soccer coach Ted Lasso this Halloween.
The former Massachusetts governor-turned-Utah senator tweeted not once, not twice, not thrice, but four times with himself as the AFC Richmond gaffer, complete with the famous “Believe” sign and a costume change. The moderate Republican even acted out a scene from the Apple TV+ show with centrist Democrat Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, who portrayed team owner Rebecca Welton.
Take a look for yourself:
It’s been a Halloween-filled week for Romney, as he also attended Sen. Thom Tillis’s “bipawtisan” (oof) Halloween party with Pierre Doglecto, a dog version of his Twitter alias.
