Schools, Colleges Shut Down For Two Days In Khordha For Urban Elections

The district administration of Khordha has ordered closure of all educational institutions in the district for two days in view of the elections to the urban local bodies (ULB).

The schools and colleges will remain shut for two days on March 23 and 24 for the General Elections to ULBs, the district administration said in a notice. 

As many as 109 ULBs including three Municipal Corporations of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Berhampur will go to polls on March 24. 

The Odisha government has already postponed all examinations in colleges and universities from March 22 to March 24 to make space of college buildings use as polling booths .
