The NSE Nifty index was trading 5.1 points down at 17299.5, while BSE Sensex was down 3.49 points at 57888.52 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.33 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(up 0.95 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Cipla Ltd.(down 1.99 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.34 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
