The Music Academy features the following programmes at Kasturi Srinivasan Hall. The vocal concerts by Prithivi Harish and Madhuri Koushik will take place at 6 p.m., on April 18 and 19, respectively, as part of the HCL concert series. Sinduja Chandramouli’s harikatha ‘Meenakshi Kalyanam’ (6 p.m.), and Thoppur Sriram’s vocal concert (6 p.m.), as part of ‘Papanasam Sivan Day’, will be held on April 20 and 21, respectively.
Festival for young talents
In an effort to encourage young talented artistes, TThe annual Spirit of Youth Festival, a platform for young and talented artistes will be conducted by the Music Academy from July 31 to August 9. Those between the age group of 18 and 27 can participate. Application forms may be downloaded from the Academy’s website. Application must be submitted on or before May 15.
