NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:05AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.
Brigade Enterprises(up 2.66 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 2.24 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.76 per cent), DLF(up 1.25 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.99 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.3 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.22 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.05 per cent at 455.75 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 72.15 points at 17294.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 229.13 points at 57822.62.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 11 were in the red.
Shares of Adani Power, Motherson Sumi Wiring India Ltd., Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Indo Borax Chem, SPML Infra, Swelect Energy, Shigan Quantum Technologies Ltd. and Shree Ram Proteins hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Akash Infra-Proj, Rollatainers Ltd, CMI Ltd, JBF Industries and Precision Metaliks Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
