A man reportedly fell to his death — and two others were reportedly injured — during a Phish concert at San Francisco’s Chase Center Sunday.

San Francisco police spokesman Robert Rueca told KQED that they were alerted about the fall at around 8:55 p.m. Sunday during Phish’s second performance in San Francisco this week. Medics, he said, “immediately provided medical treatment” but the man was declared dead shortly after.

Edward Lewine, a speechwriter for New York Attorney State General Letitia James who says he was present at the show, wrote on Twitter that a man fell from the upper deck into the lower section he was seated in.

He added that a woman “right where he fell” was visibly affected by the incident, but was uninjured. (Lewine did not immediately respond to a request for comment from SFGATE.)

A separate fall took place about a half hour later, Rueca told KQED, after another man fell at the show and onto another concertgoer. Both were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

A San Francisco police spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment from SFGATE.

Phish has yet to publicly comment on the death as of Monday afternoon.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
