Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty ended 57.45 points down at 18210.95, while the BSE Sensex closed 206.93 points down at 61143.33.
On the other hand, Mangalam Global Ent, KDDL Ltd, TTK Prestige, Transport Corp and Goldiam Intnl stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, Asian Paints, UPL, Divis Labs, Cipla and Infosys were among the top gainers on the NSE in the today’s trade.
Meanwhile, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, ONGC, Tata Motors and Bajaj Finserv were among the top losers of the day.
