This is odd. As Twitchy reported earlier, the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin seems psyched that Beto O’Rourke could win his bid to be the next governor of Texas. Usually, her colleague Max Boot is right in league, but instead, he’s writing about how terrified he is that Democrats will lose in 2022 and 2024, thus ending our democracy. He’s never been more worried about the future of our country, except for the last time he was this worried about the future of our country.
You realize these are the two the Washington Post keeps on the payroll to provide conservative “balance” to the opinion page, and they’ve done nothing but root for Democrats for years now.
I’ve never been more worried about the future of the country than I am today.
I am terrified that Democrats will lose in 2022 and 2024 — and that as a result we could lose our democracy.

The idea that the opposition to Max Boot’s beliefs winning elections is so abhorrent to him he declares it the end of “democracy.”
Actually, the people electing who they wish to lead them is the definition of “democracy.” Doesn’t take long to look it up, Max. https://t.co/6OJ52r45Aq
