HBO has some of the best entertainment to offer as we continue in the early months of 2022. Kicking things off this March, the prestige streamer will continue to air new shows like Winning Time: The Rise and Fall of the Lakers Dynasty and Minx. And although we aren’t getting same day Warner Bros. releases on the streamer this year, we can still expect hit new movies like Moonshot to land on the platform.
The beginning of the month will bring the start of Winning Time: The Rise and Fall of the Lakers Dynasty. Adam McKay’s brand new series is so dramatic that it actually led to the downfall of his partnership with Will Ferrell. That only makes it more enticing though, right? The John C. Reilly sports drama will begin airing episodes on HBO on March 3.
We’ll get another series with the debut of Minx, a new comedy premiering this March. Set in 1970s Los Angeles, the brand new series is set to follow a budding young feminist as she joins forces with a publisher in order to publish the first erotic magazine for women. Minx, which premieres on March 17, will star Idara Victor, Jessica Lowe, Ophelia Lovibond, and Jake Johnson.
To round out the month, HBO Max will host the Lana Condor/Cole Sprouse sci-fi Moonshot. Releasing March 24 on the streamer, the fantasy flick will see Mars in a terraformed state. When two high schoolers sneak aboard a rocket, they set out to Mars in order to be reunited with their significant others.
