Info Systems Ltd.(Rs. 730.89 crore), Sun Pharma(Rs. 727.24 crore), Infosys(Rs. 610.42 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 557.94 crore), TCS(Rs. 539.78 crore), SBI(Rs. 538.08 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 528.24 crore) and IndusInd Bank(Rs. 526.77 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 19.65 points down at 17213.6, while BSE Sensex fell 90.99 points to 57806.49.
In the Nifty index, Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 3.30 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.91 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.72 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.03 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, ITC Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.47 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
