The SUPER BOWL IS HERE on Sunday, with the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals matching up in LVI. That means it’s time once again for our weekly look at the point spread — and this time, we’ll do the over/under and moneyline, too — in order to help you win some money.
Last week, Prince Grimes went 0-2 (44-44 overall in regular season, 8-4 in the playoffs) and Charles Curtis went 1-1 (128-123 in regular season, 9-3 in the playoffs)
We now go to them for comments before they make their picks:
Charles: WOOO THE SUPER BOWL IS HERE! After a successful playoffs, we’re heading into this game with serious momentum.
Prince: What a season. Let’s finish this thing off right!

Rams vs. Bengals (+3.5)

Charles: Bengals
There’s this part of me that really thinks Aaron Donald is going to dominate so much that this will be a blowout (side note: I’m thinking a Donald MVP bet is a good one). But we keep underestimating this Bengals team and they seem to make big plays on both sides of the ball at the right time, week in and week out. So I’ll say the Bengals cover, but the Rams win, 24-21.
Prince: Bengals
As much I started to believe in the Bengals prior to their win over the Chiefs, that was the game I stopped believing they were second tier to anyone. That includes the Rams, who have a defense I think gives Cincy a much harder time. Still, I think the Bengals make enough timely conversions on offense and stops on defense to stay within striking distance, because that’s what they do.

Over/Under: 48.5
Charles: Under
Between the Rams’ defense and the surprisingly solid Bengals D, I think this is a tight one, as you saw above. The Rams might jump out to a lead, then the Bengals could fight back like they did against the Chiefs.
Prince: Over
I’m predicting a score of around 26-23, with the cover probably coming on late fourth quarter field goal. Like Charles said, I can see the Rams jumping ahead early and the Bengals successfully playing catch-up.

Yeah, yeah, I know the Bengals bet has better odds, but L.A. is winning this game. Sorry, Joe Burrow fans.
