This is even bigger than CNN’s Wolf Blitzer taking a selfie with the Capitol in the background to mark the nine-month anniversary of the storming of the Capitol Building. HBO apparently has a new documentary out, “Four Hours at the Capitol,” which, according to The Atlantic’s Sophie Gilbert, is “a vivid, terrifying picture of violent insurrection.”

What do words mean?

— Ashe Short (@AsheSchow) October 23, 2021

It was a genocide

— Miles Gloriosus (@tony_percuoco) October 23, 2021

The Second American Civil War, I reckon.

— Mobius_19 (@PLX_01) October 23, 2021

A war with no weapons and the enemy invites you in. 🧢🧢🧢😂😂😂

— Bobby (@_statefarmjake_) October 23, 2021

War is when you politely don’t knock over the velvet ropes

— the stars (@atigersstars) October 23, 2021

Yeah, senior citizens strolling through the capital must be terrifying.

— Ron Rilee (@Rilesinnewbs) October 23, 2021

As we’ve said, prosecute the criminals, but get out here with all of these guilty pleas to “parading in a capital building.”

They make it sound based and epic

— Corporations & Institutions Posting Their L’s (@wokecorporateLs) October 23, 2021

Lowest casualty war in US history.

— Aust (@Austin_S_Ross) October 23, 2021

Oh, a war now. Interesting. They’re gonna be so screwed when they see actual violence.

— The Best Kind of Worst (@BestKindOfWorst) October 23, 2021

What next, a Ken Burns 10 part documentary?

— Rustin (@Russell62938767) October 23, 2021

This might be the first war ever where the soldiers stayed within the red velvet ropes

— MATH_0522 (@MATH_052205) October 23, 2021

It was an absolute disgrace, but a war? Really?

— parker (@xparkerbyronx) October 23, 2021

Well only one side had casualties, so I guess we know who won.

— Patrick at Rizoma (@RizomaAt) October 23, 2021

Next up NUCLEAR WAR!

— Larry Bill (@LarryBill1971) October 23, 2021

It was actually a riot out of hand to be honest not a organized and professional terrorist attack

— Saint Ghost (@Saint_NerdGhost) October 23, 2021

Who was charged with insurrection?

— Marion Morrison (@usmmft) October 23, 2021

Hardly… This hyperbolic language is becoming more annoying, more exhausting, and ever more concerning. If they truly believe this is war, they will feel justified in treating as such. No one here wants that.

— John Galt (@J0hn_Galt4891) October 23, 2021

I wonder what they call this and dozens more incidents like it…? @TheAtlantic pic.twitter.com/j7IYNZJfdp

Firely but mostly peaceful protests.

These same people doesn’t care that Biden killed children with a drone.

— LetsGoBrandon (@yourdadsusa) October 23, 2021

Poor Sophie.
